What is the function of rubber accelerator?
Rubber accelerator refers to rubber vulcanization accelerator, which mainly uses sulfur. However, the reaction between sulfur and rubber is very slow, so rubber accelerator has emerged. Adding a promoter to the rubber material can activate the vulcanizing agent, thereby accelerating the crosslinking reaction between the vulcanizing agent and rubber molecules, achieving the effect of shortening the vulcanization time and reducing the vulcanization temperature.
Rubber promoter is a post effect promoter of natural rubber, butadiene rubber, isoprene rubber, butadiene styrene rubber, and recycled rubber. Rubber promoter is commonly used in the manufacturing of cables, rubber tapes, rubber shoes, inner tubes, bright colored products, etc., especially suitable for carbon black rubber materials with strong alkalinity. Safe at operating temperature, strong resistance to scorching, fast vulcanization speed, high tensile strength, and can increase the proportion of synthetic rubber used. Rubber accelerators have low toxicity and high efficiency, making them an ideal substitute for NOBS. They have excellent comprehensive performance and are known as standard accelerators.
Introduction to Classification of Rubber Promoters
Rubber accelerators - thiazoles: M (2-mercaptan benzothiazole), DM (disulfide dibenzothiazole).
Rubber accelerators - sulfonamides: CBS (N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide), TBBS (N-tert butyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide), NOBS (N-oxodiethylene-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide), DZ (N, N '- dicyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide).
Rubber accelerators - Qiu Lamb class: TMTD (tetramethylenedisulfide Qiu Lamb), TMTM (tetramethylenedisulfide Qiu Lamb), TETD (tetraethylenedisulfide Qiu Lamb), DPTT (pentamethylenedisulfide Qiu Lamb).
Rubber accelerators - Thioamate salts: ZDC (zinc diethyldithiocarbamate), BZ (zinc dibutyldithioamate), PZ (zinc dimethyldithiocarbamate).
Rubber promoter - guanidine: D (diphenylguanidine).
